Groceries are very important for everyone. They are good for our health and we should eat them regularly. They provide us basic and important nutrition to our body. 1. Time Spent In Grocery Shopping?

According to our research, an average person goes for grocery shopping around 1.6 times a week. How much time does he or she spend there? 43 minutes and this does not include the time taken to reach the grocery store and back home. This is just the time spent choosing and buying the groceries. To put it in the perspective of a year. You spend 60 hours of your time grocery shopping in a year. You can save some time and rather do something more productive with your life. Just an idea.

2. Average Items In A Grocery Store?

The more the item the more you will feel like buying. Also, they don’t put more items they put more variety hence it encourages us to buy more. Everyone loves groceries and to make different kinds of dishes from it. On average, a grocery store keeps 39,500 items.

3. Do You Typically Shop On The Weekends?

Weekends are when most people are free to go for groceries. Therefore weekends are the prime time and you will find a rush at that time. So, you should try and avoid that because that lowers your chances to get fresh bunch of groceries. It is also a fact that on average you spend 5 minutes more on weekends than on regular days.

4. Do you run to the store right before dinner?

When you suddenly run out of groceries just before dinner time and then you run to the store get some groceries. Well, that is the time when you overspent and you may even buy high calories products. As you will also find some rush. You will be in a hurry to get back home and make your dinner. This is the time you would like to avoid.

5. Do You Get Bigger Carts At The Grocery Store?

Bigger cart means more groceries could come in. This is one of the tricks of the store to make you buy more. This is completely psychological and there is nothing wrong with it. It is just you have to control and buy only what is needed. But this is generally not the case and we tend to buy a little more. Even though at that time we feel it is our own wish.
